Oljato Chapter is located in the northern portion of the Western Agency. The chapter includes the scenic area of Monument Valley and Mexican Hat. The Oljato Chapter conducts monthly meetings to keep residents informed; residents have a forum to express their opinions to their Navajo Nation Council Delegate or to decide on matters concerning the chapter.

The Oljato Chapter Public Water System (NN4900224) is being negatively impacted by drought. The Chapter has a population of more than 2,400 people in more than 500 households.
